HAPPY 2021 - The Abbott Family

So we all have our own renditions and tales of 2020 and what a year it was - both for the good and bad. I always like to look at life from all angles, so call me an all-rounded if you would (insert winky face here). I remember January last year (2020), I was sitting over some drinks with mates and we were talking about the possibility of a national lockdown and how it could change the way we live, well who would have knew that two months later SA would have to adapt to a new reality.

During the lockdown, I was fortunate to have the support of family and managed to hold on to my career (unlike many people over SA, my heart really bleeds for all those effected by this F***ked up virus!

BUT the positives that came out of last year for me are all plotted down below on a list:

• Got to watch my son Mordecai grow and take his first steps, hear his first words and literally see him blossom = biggest bonus of all time!!!!

• Got involved with Isuzu & Gift of the Givers to help those in need and effected by the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Eastern Cape

• Managed to learn new photographic techniques

• Bought a new 5D MK3 Camera (long overdue gear upgrade) - SO WORTH IT!

• Saw my youngest brother and his wife move over to the UK for a fresh and successful start!

• Parents got covid, but thank the Lord, healed up and are doing great!

• Moved into a new house - LOVING IT!

• Started planting herbs and veg - super healthy

These are just some of the highlights of the year that was 2020.

This year that now approaches ahead of us, if you ask me what I think... I actually think its going to be amazing and we will come through all of this as stronger people!

Until we blog again.
